Who wants to follow you?

Are people drawn to your ability to envision the future and communicate broad concepts in action-oriented, yet inspiring terms that invite them to contribute? Do people want to be around you because they sense your integrity and comfort with yourself?

The higher you climb up the "leadership ladder," the more in tune with yourself you need to be.

Leaders are often promoted into their positions because of excellence at “doing.” Yet, they’re promoted into a role that entails both knowing the job AND inspiring greatness from people. The ability to inspire greatness in others is usually unstated, yet is the most critical aspect of leadership success! Leadership is about lifting up and inspiring. Management is about controlling through doing. Both are necessary, but only one applies to people.

Inspire yourself first.

What’s more, leaders often receive precious little support for the real work of leadership. Who encourages you to know and inspire yourself as a prerequisite to inspiring others? Who gives you permission to close your door and spend time envisioning? Who teaches you to use the power of thought to achieve incredible results for yourself and your organization? Who helps you through the anxiety that inevitably tickles your brain when you force yourself to put the “doing” on hold for a while and focus on the “being?” As your coach, I can help you in creating your vision, mission, and goals, and finding ways to empower others to realize those goals.
