The sports industry has used coaching to motivate athletes long before personal or business coaching existed. Similar to sports coaches who work with teams or individual athletes to improve performance and achieve athletic goals, as a professional coach I work with individuals or teams to develop clarity, create an action plan and follow through on that plan to achieve success. But as a coach, I also help uncover what’s holding you back, address your fears, and yes, tell you what you don’t want to hear sometimes, while supporting you along the way — I am your partner in success!

As a coach I am trained to listen, to observe and to customize my approach to individual client needs. I seek to elicit solutions and strategies from my client; I believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. My job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that you already have.

How does coaching work?

My coaching structure happens either in person, or via skype/telephone.  For clients who live or work within the Washington, DC area, I am available for coaching in person, traveling either to your home or office.  Otherwise, coaching occurs on skype or the telephone.  Coaching generally occurs weekly for 45 minutes each session, but the exact number of monthly sessions is determined individually.  In person coaching tends to run closer to an hour or more depending on individual situations and agreements.  In all cases, I am available between sessions for phone or email consultations or “mini-coaching.”  My coaching fees depend upon the type of coaching delivered, and the number of sessions per month, but will generally start at $200 per month (two 45 min personal coaching session a month); the exact fee depends on type of coaching, number of sessions per month, and overall client needs.  Clients may request additional sessions beyond those originally scheduled each month for an additional fee.
